The Story of Lyndhaven

Lyndhaven, many many years ago, was a vast forest full of wonderous and amazing creatures, and we had only but a small township of inhabitants sheltered by magnificant elms.

For many years the people went about their lives, takeing for granted the protection that was always offered by the thick groves surrounding them until a strange curse swarmed over their township. One by one, each Elm started to lose their bark and soon after their leaves and any spark of life began to fail.

It had become evident that action was needed so the townsfolk called a meeting. At this meeting, the people decided to go on a journey to find a new tree that would be just as tall, just as magestic and just as protective as the elms have been for so many years.

With much luck and much hope, the bravest townsfolk went into the deep forests of the Shire in search for new hope, and this new hope was brought back to the town. It was the Lynden. In celebration, the people decided to spread this hope through the Shire and gave it a name, Lyndhaven.

Now, today, there stands many Lynden throughout the whole Shire and with them, many people under their protection.

What is Lyndhaven?

The Shire of Lyndhaven spans the land mass otherwise known as the province of New Brunswick, Canada and is a subgroup within the Northern Shores region of the East Kingdom. More locally, most of the active Shire population covers mostly the southern half of the province from Woodstock through to Fredericton, Moncton and then down to Sackville but we do have people scattered throught the entire province.
